Quantitech Acquires Systems Engineering Group
There is no doubt we live in dynamic times. Just a skim through the SEG-relevant news clips at the end of this newsletter shows the great span of events that shape our work, and the events that our work in turn shapes. Our Nation is faced with the reality of having to deter re-emergent near-peer competitors, while simultaneously facing the continual challenge of proliferating technology to rogue state and even non-governmental actors. (See: Houthi rebels firing cruise missiles against ships at sea and ballistic missiles against land targets.)
The technical nature of the threat continues to evolve as well. Submarine-launched ballistic and cruise missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, anti-ship ballistic missiles, cooperative and reactive threats, unmanned vehicles, swarm tactics, electronic warfare integration, and many other advances and proliferations require fundamental advances in our warfighting capabilities.
